Founder / CEO
Curetia Washington
Curetia Lynette Washington, born and raised in Milwaukee Wisconsin. The founder and CEO of Mareana and Balie’s World of Love Daycare established in 2006, where our slogan reads “love is, what love does.” Her passion for children began at the age of 14 when she volunteered at a local daycare and assisted in caring for children with disabilities. By the age of 16, she served as a youth mentor in multiple capacities in the community. Within various curriculum, she teaches Christian values, family values, education, integrity and morals.
Mareana and Balie’s World of Love Daycare offers nutritious meals, field trips, and transportation. Here we take pride in creating a strong foundation that builds critical thinkers, good decision makers, with strong cognitive, social and emotional skills. We apply strong motor skills in preparation for grade school. We look forward to expanding our brand and opening up a community center that offers counseling, parenting classes and job ready programs. It is an honor to welcome you and your children to be apart of our safe-haven.

Lakinya Washington
Hello Families!
My name is Lakinya Washington I have been working with children and families as an Early Childhood Educator in our local community for over fourteen years. I started my career working with two-year old’s and have gained experience in the passing years with all Early Childhood Education age groups in various program structures. I am currently working at Mareana and Balie’s World of Love as an Assistant Teacher with our fantastic team. As an assistant teacher I provide essential support for structured, individualized education.
As I assist you in developing your child’s educational future, my goal is to provide leadership and positive guidance for the most fun and successful outcomes for our children.

Johnie Washington
Johnie Washington has been working with children for more than 20 years. She began working with the company in 2006. She is a 4C's certified childcare provider, and also in CPR.
Her goal is to continue to teach various curriculum strategies and to be effective with participants in many grade levels. She enjoys researching and teaching about fine motor skills and sensory play. She also comes with years of experience in potty training. She values the importance of individualism of children and being present no matter the condition of development. She is dedicated and committed to making children feel loved, supported and safe.
